Hi there! I’m Ruthie
I’m a digital artist and art teacher based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Since 2017 I’ve been attending fan conventions across Eastern and Central Canada; creating and selling fan works for others to enjoy.
In my artwork I try to tell a story. Whether it’s through small, subtle details or larger narrative elements I try to express moments in time where characters are experiencing something.
While most of my work is currently fan art, my personal work also focuses on storytelling and illustration; often focusing things that I’m interested in like fairy tales and folklore.
I also work with clients on commission artworks; taking their concepts for characters and making them into anything from full illustrations to small icons and emotes.
